TERMS & CONDITIONS

Charlotte Dugdale Yoga provides yoga instruction through classes, workshops, private instruction and retreats (UK). It is my intention to share my knowledge and experience in a way which is accessible , helpful and of a benefit to you.

 

 These terms and conditions are here so we have a clear understanding of where we stand in our exchange of services, by booking on a class, event, workshop or retreat you are abiding by these Terms and Conditions

 

 • All classes are to be booked in advance through charlotedugdaleyoga.co.uk. This is to ensure Charlotte is aware of numbers, participants and plan classes accordingly. No cash will be taken for classes.

 

• For cancellation 24 hours or less before the class commencement, you will be charged the full amount you paid for the session.

 • Private booking and classes require 24 hours notice to cancel or amend otherwise a full fee is due. • A full refund or exchange of class will be given when a cancellation of 24 hours or more before the session is due to commence.

• Drop-in classes, class packs and unlimited passes purchased at the studio or online are nonrefundable. The Intro Offer is non-refundable and non-extendable. It is 20 consecutive days and once started it cannot be interrupted.

• Activation All class packs, monthly passes and the Intro Offer activate on the date of first booking. You can only book classes on dates that fall after your activation date. • Booking and Waitlists We strongly recommend that you book your class in advance as we have a limited number of spaces. If the class is fully booked you can join the waitlist. Please note, you will need to have a valid payment option to join.

• If you are on the waitlist and a space opens up (due to a cancellation) and you are next in line, you will receive an auto-email notifying you that you can book the class online. This service is fully automated and can reach you at any time.

• Direct Debits -  It takes up to 8 working days to set up a Direct Debit. If you wish to start practising immediately we can take a pro-rated payment on card until your Direct Debit comes out. You will need your sort code, account number, full name and address to set it up.

• There is a minimum term of 3 months commitment. You can ‘pause’ your Direct Debit for one month at a time should you need to, but you must notify the studio before the date your next payment is due. The membership can only be ‘paused’ for complete months at a time, not for days or weeks. You can terminate anytime after the first 3 months.

• If instructor needs to cancel class for any reason, full refunds or exchanges will be given.

• Students will complete a health questionnaire prior to taking part in any yoga classes, workshops or retreats. Students will be expected to fill these out honestly to enable a safe and effective yoga practice. You are responsible for declaring injury or medical conditions which could effect your practice.

• Private medical information will be treated with the upmost confidentiality.

• The teachers are not medical professionals and offer no medical advice or diagnosis. If you have a health condition, you will be expected to manage this through doctors advice.

• You are advised to seek advice from a medical professional before embarking on any new form of physical exercise.

• When practicing, you will be expected to take breaks as you need, practice safely and stop if you start to feel unwell. You are fully in charge of your own health and manage this accordingly. You must agree to honour your body by adjusting the practice to your own capabilities and needs to ensure that personal injury occurs. Should an injury occurs during class, I cannot be held accountable.

• Instructor will always ask if a students would like hands on adjustment during the class. It is your responsibility to let Charlotte know if you do not want this.

• Phones must be turned off during class and left in the cloak room. In exceptional circumstances if you need your phone with you to take an urgent phone call, please speak with instructor before class, put on silent and wait until outside of the room to speak so not to interrupt the class.

• Please arrive no earlier than 15 minutes before class. This enables instructor to set the room up before the session begins.

• Photographs and videos of the session may be taken by the instructor and used on social media platforms. If you are uncomfortable with this, please speak privately to instructor.

• Verbal or physical aggression will not be tolerated. You will be asked to leave with no refund. Instructor may also choose to no longer have you in any classes moving forward. If you have any questions regarding the terms and conditions, please do not hesitate to speak with Charlotte directly or via email. She will be happy to talk through any concerns you have. Retreat Terms and Conditions

 • All payments will be taken via charlottedugdaleyoga.co.uk, no cash payments will be taken. For those paying deposits , you will be expected to pay the full amount 90 days prior to the retreat start via bank transfer. If final payments are not received 90 days before the trip, Charlotte Dugdale reserves the right to cancel your reservation and accept new reservations for your space. If you do not think you can pay in time, please contact Charlotte Dugdale via email to discuss. Guest Cancellations

• If you need to cancel your booking, you must notify Charlotte Dugdale in writing. Once received, cancellation will follow the pathways below.

• If cancellation takes place 60 days prior to retreat start date, payments will be fully refunded minus your deposit. For retreats paid for in full with no deposit stated, the deposit amount will be 25% of total or £200 (the greater amount)

• If cancellation take place less than 60 days prior to retreat start date, 100% of the cost will be taken. Any amount not currently paid to Charlotte Dugdale will be owed as a debt and payable to Charlotte Dugdale. Cancellations

• Charlotte Dugdale reserves the right to make any changes necessary to the retreat. In the rare case of cancellations, Charlotte Dugdale will offer a transfer to another event (up to the same expense) or a full refund.

• Charlotte Dugdale is not responsible for any further expenses or damages as a result of cancellation. Including; travel documents, preparation costs or other expenses.

• Charlotte Dugdale reserves the right to cancel a trip due to restrictions for Covid-19. In this instance you will be given a full refund, but no further expenses or compensation can be claimed from Charlotte Dugdale.

• Damages as a result of weather, wildlife, or uncontrollable acts of God during a retreat held by Charlotte Dugdale cannot be claimed through Charlotte Dugdale. Including the risk of death.
